This project, my focus was the research of building codes, and healthcare provision per OSHPD 3, approved fire-rated assemblies, development of architectural working drawings and specifications, and fill-out the permit forms required by the applicable agencies.
One of the significant challenges was finding the fire-rating assembly for the ceiling-roof assembly, with the help of the existing building documentation and the manufacturing company for the wood joist provided a guide to the ICC-ES Evaluation Report.
Details were important to define to maintain the fire rating.
