A feasibility study for an independent studio at an existing residence per the owner requests considering circulation and maneuverability of occupants who used wheelchairs.
One of the more challenging spaces was accessible Restroom, where a narrow wall-mounted lavatory and a flip-up grab-bar satisfy the clearances and needs.
One of the aspects the client was unsure of is the connection between the studio restroom and the existing house through the laundry; in this layout, that connection is still possible.
