Owner Adviser to Veruschka Development, Inc
In this project I provided interpretation of he contractors communications, access multiple value engineering alternatives, consult with the owner and provide direction to the contractor on the owner’s behalf.
The construction process from the client point of view was a different experience for me. Value engineering, substitutions and last minute adaptations where some of the challenges we faced.
My roll in this project was not in the general contractor team, but the close interaction give me a glimpse of how they read, distribute, and interpret the plans.
The construction process of this building made me appreciate the value of submittals and coordination between disciplines. In location of strengthen structural joist, the location of clean outs, etc. where in constant verification and letter on in the package for tenant improvement.
I am a motivated individual with more than 15 years of experience.
I have work on projects ranging from tenant improvement to ground up
complex buildings, including coordination and management of small projects.
